Automatic license plate reader (ALPR) companies like Flock Safety are building a nationwide mass surveillance system. Flock cameras are tracking, logging, and sharing your movements without a warrant. These cameras have been weaponized and abused by law enforcement. ICE has repeatedly used Flock to go after immigrants without warrants. (source)

Under the Trump administration there has been a massive increase in immigrants detained by ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Einforcement) and an increase in funding ($45 billion) for building new immigration detention centers, including family detention facilities. (source)

During the first year of the second Trump administration, the number of people in ICE detention increased 77 percent, from about 40,000 to over 71,000. At the same time, the rate of deaths in ICE custody rose 140 percent. (source)

The Trump administration is attacking immigrant children by not renewing a contract that funds immigrant children’s access to lawyers. Children as young as babies are forced to self-represent in immigration court against trained government attorneys - which of course leads to deportation of these children. (source)

On an average day under Trump, ICE has 25 children aged 3 or younger in custody. In total, at least 500 babies and toddlers have been detained. Parents in ICE detention centers have complained of negative conditions that frequently left their young children sick, isolated, and regressing their development. (source)
